What international relocation with Spring Hill includes

Relocating to the Gulf, UK, US, Australia or Southeast Asia? We handle export-grade wooden crating, sea or air freight, customs paperwork on both ends, and doorstep delivery in the destination country through our partner agents.

Every job is run by a named supervisor who is on site at pickup and reachable through the whole transit. That single point of accountability matters more than any brochure claim: when something needs a decision — a lift that's out of order, a gate that closes at 8pm, a piece that won't clear a stairwell — one person makes the call and keeps you informed rather than passing you between departments.

Materials are not an afterthought. We use five-ply corrugated cartons rather than reused single-wall boxes, closed-cell foam for surfaces that scratch, stretch film to keep drawers and doors shut in transit, and quilted blankets on anything with a polished finish. The bill shows exactly how much of each was used.

How we price international relocation

International moves are custom-quoted by volume, mode and destination.

Beyond the headline figure, the variables that move a quote are volume, distance, access at both ends, and how much fragile packing you want. We survey first — over video or in person — precisely so those variables are known before you commit, which is why our final invoice matches the quote in the overwhelming majority of jobs.

Payment terms are simple: a booking advance to lock the date and the vehicle, and the balance on delivery after you have inspected the goods. GST-compliant invoices and e-way bills are issued as standard, which matters if your employer is reimbursing the move.

Common mistakes we help you avoid

Most avoidable damage traces back to a handful of decisions made before the crew arrives. Declaring a lower value to save a little on insurance leaves you exposed for the one item that gets hurt. Packing your own fragile goods in supermarket cartons and expecting a mover to accept liability for them rarely ends well. Booking a move for the last day of the month, when every crew and vehicle in the state is committed, limits your choices and your leverage.

We flag all of this during the survey, in writing, before you pay anything. It is cheaper for everyone if the move is planned properly than if it is repaired afterwards.

International Relocation — frequently asked questions

How much does international relocation cost?

International moves are custom-quoted by volume, mode and destination.

How long does the process take?

Local jobs are usually completed within a single day. Intercity movements run three to seven days depending on the corridor, and we commit to a delivery window in writing at the time of booking rather than leaving it open-ended.

Is international relocation insured?

Yes. Transit insurance to the full declared value is available on every international relocation booking, covering damage, fire and theft while the goods are in our custody.

What paperwork do I need to provide?

For household goods, one photo ID and the pickup and delivery addresses are enough. For vehicles, we additionally need the RC copy and current insurance certificate. We prepare the e-way bill and GST invoice ourselves.

Can I track my consignment?

Yes. Every vehicle is GPS-tracked and your supervisor sends WhatsApp updates at pickup, at the halfway point of the journey and before delivery.
